Description
Aristopet All Wormer gives dogs and puppies broad protection against gastrointestinal worms in one easy tablet. It targets roundworm (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Uncinaria stenocephala), whipworm (Trichuris vulpis) and tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp.), including the hydatid tapeworm (Echinococcus granulosus). Please note: this product does not control heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis).
Treatment guidelines
- Roundworm & hookworm: treat at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age, then every 3 months thereafter.
- Whipworm: treat every 6 to 8 weeks after 3 months of age.
- Hydatid tapeworm: in hydatid-prone areas, treat every 6 weeks and prevent dogs from eating offal.
- Other tapeworms: treat every 3 months.
- Pregnant dogs: treat at mating, before whelping, then every 3 months.
Worming tips
- Flea control matters: fleas can transmit the tapeworm Dipylidium caninum, so pair worming with flea control.
- Treat the whole household: worm all dogs and cats at the same time for comprehensive control.
- Dose accurately: weigh your dog first to prevent underdosing.
- Minimum age: suitable for puppies older than 2 weeks.
