Burgess Excel DualCare is a complementary recovery feed specially formulated for rabbits and guinea pigs during illness, recovery, or post-surgical care. Designed to provide complete nutritional support when pets are unable or unwilling to eat normally, DualCare can be fed dry alongside hay or mixed with water into a paste for syringe feeding.
Each box contains 10 x 60g sachets and is enriched with essential vitamins and minerals, including high levels of protected Vitamin C for guinea pigs.

Syringe Feeding Instructions
Important: Syringe not included.
To prepare for syringe feeding:
- Mix 2 parts warm water to 1 part DualCare.
- Allow the mixture to soak for 3–4 minutes.
- Stir gently to form a smooth paste.
- Feed slowly, allowing the rabbit or guinea pig time to swallow between small amounts.
Recommended feeding amount:
- Maximum 10ml of prepared paste per kg of body weight per feeding session.
- Multiple feeding sessions may be required throughout the day depending on the animal's nutritional needs.
For best results:
- Prepare a fresh mixture for each feeding session.
- Thoroughly clean the syringe after use.
Recovery Feeding Guidance
As your pet begins to recover:
- Gradually increase voluntary feeding.
- Offer DualCare dry alongside fresh hay.
- Transition back to the appropriate life-stage food when normal eating resumes.
- Ensure fresh, high-quality hay is available at all times.
