Hikari Mini Algae Wafers pack trusted algae-eater nutrition into a smaller disc — ideal for juvenile plecos, smaller catfish and any algae eater that prefers smaller bites. Each wafer is rich in vegetable matter, including spirulina and chlorella, favourites of herbivorous fish.

Feeding guide

Feed no more than the amount your fish will completely consume within two (2) hours. Many bottom feeders are nocturnal (active at night); for best results feed late in the day or at night.

Safety: Care should be taken to avoid over-feeding and always remove uneaten food after the feeding period. When used as directed the disc will not cloud aquarium water. Natural ingredients may cause slight colour variation between production lots.

How to introduce

Even the tastiest new food deserves a gentle introduction. Blend it with your pet’s current food over 7–10 days, gradually increasing the new and easing off the old. Cats and sensitive tummies often appreciate an extra week or two — and if anything seems off, slow things down and check in with your vet.
