Coccivet is a dual active treatment specifically formulated to combat Coccidiosis in pigeons and ornamental birds. Coccidiosis is a common, and sometimes deadly, parasitic disease caused by the protozoan parasite Coccidia, which infects the intestines of birds. This in-water treatment effectively clears the infection within 7 days, ensuring the health and well-being of your birds.

How Coccidiosis Affects Birds: Coccidiosis is a parasitic disease that affects the intestinal tract of birds. The protozoan parasite Coccidia is transmitted through bird feces and can remain dormant in the environment for up to 12 months. In hot and damp conditions, the protozoa become active and infect birds when ingested. This disease can lead to nutrient malabsorption, dehydration, and blood loss, making birds more susceptible to secondary infections.

Usage Instructions:

1. Flock Dose:
   • Mix 15mL of Coccivet in 10L of clean drinking water.
2. Small Aviary and Singular Bird Dose:
   • Mix 1 drop (0.05mL) per 30mL of clean drinking water.
3. Treatment Duration:
   • Treat all birds continuously for 5 - 7 days. Remove all other sources of drinking water during treatment. Repeat treatment as required.

Important Notes:

• Clean Environment: Thoroughly clean all aviaries and environments using a disinfectant such as Vetafarm Avicare to help prevent reinfection during treatment.
• Storage: Store below 30°C (room temperature) and protect from light.
• Expiry: 2 years.

• Not for Food-Producing Animals: Coccivet should not be used in food-producing species of animals.
