Description
Vetafarm Coccivet is a dual active, in-water treatment formulated to combat coccidiosis in pigeons and ornamental birds. Coccidiosis is a common, sometimes deadly parasitic disease of the intestines caused by the protozoan parasite Coccidia; Coccivet clears the infection within a 7 day course, helping prevent the nutrient malabsorption, dehydration and blood loss the disease causes.
- Dual active formulation: a more effective treatment than sulphur-based options.
- Easy in-water treatment: simply mixed with the birds' drinking water.
- Rapid infection clearance: clears Coccidia within 7 days and reduces the risk of secondary infections.
- Flexible dosing: flock rates for large aviaries or a singular dose for individual birds.
Directions
- Flock dose: mix 15mL of Coccivet in 10L of clean drinking water.
- Small aviary or single bird: mix 1 drop (0.05mL) per 30mL of clean drinking water.
- Duration: treat all birds continuously for 5 to 7 days, removing all other sources of drinking water during treatment. Repeat as required.
Important notes
- Thoroughly clean aviaries and environments with a disinfectant such as Vetafarm Avicare during treatment to help prevent reinfection - Coccidia can remain dormant in the environment for up to 12 months.
- Not for use in food-producing species of animals.
- Consult a veterinarian before beginning treatment to ensure proper diagnosis and usage.
- Store below 30°C and protect from light. Expiry 2 years.
